The B.A. Major Concentration program, offered through the Faculty of Arts, is for students seeking a broadly based undergraduate liberal arts education through a wide range of complementary and elective courses. Kevin has taught music history, composition, music theory, writing, and cultural studies in a variety of roles in a variety of institutions, including Saint Catherine University, the University of Massachusetts, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Saint Thomas.
Not for profit groups, voluntary organisations and registered charities will be able to apply for grants of up to £10,000 for new, original and innovative projects that actively promote Heart Health and help to prevent, or reduce, the risk of heart disease.
The department offers the following majors: Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with concentrations in Art Education, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Illustration, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture; as well as, the Master of Education (Art) degree.
Our concentration in music offers you a focus on music performance, history, and theory with courses in the liberal arts including fine arts and literature, letters (history, philosophy and religion, speech), social sciences, natural sciences, mathematics, English communication (writing and general communication), and foreign language and culture.
First things first – a big congratulations to Alder Hey’s Children’s Hospital Arts for Health service, which has been successful in securing £50,000 from the People’s Project Big Lottery Fund to deliver a comprehensive programme of music with children and families on the wards.
