New applicants to the Music program are advised to contact the Music Officer prior to completing an application form in order to confirm eligibility. One of the key challenges of the course is to enable music students to mess up” with the ‘picture’ and visual art students to mess up” with ‘sound’ in order to expand their creativity beyond the roles and specializations that the university and society assigns to it.
Students must complete 192 points, of which 96 points are from the Bachelor of Arts (including all the requirements in Part A and B for the single degree) and 96 points from the Bachelor of Music (including all of the requirements in Part A, B and C for the single degree).

Six additional credit hours chosen from MUS 321J, 325L, 334, 337, 342, 379K, and up to three semesters of Early Music Ensemble or African American Vocal Ensemble (one semester in either ensemble plus an MUS 278G Independent Project may be used with faculty mentor approval).
