Each year, RTÉ supports many local and national arts events throughout Ireland through media partnerships and widespread cultural content on Radio 1, 2fm, lyric fm, Raidio na Gaeltachta, RTÉ One and Two, across RTÉ.ie, and via RTÉ Orchestras, Quartet and Choirs. Arts Council England accounts for and explains their decisions to government through the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, Parliament and the general public. We want to increase the range of funding options available to arts organisations, so they are less reliant on public funding. Many students may have examples of people they know who struggled to get a job after graduating from a liberal arts program or who are working in a field unrelated to their degree. A successful arts or cultural district needs committed investors and a steward of the vision.
