Creative Arts Expression refers to participation in a range of activities that allow for creative and imaginative expression, such as music, art, creative movement, and drama. The Trust offers grants to artists and for new, innovative visual arts projects based in the UK. The arts not only help strengthen learning in other subject areas, they also help reach students who might be struggling in school or with social confidence. Presenters and participants from the conference reflect on the value of the arts in education. Games led into lunch time (shout out to Vanguard for the good food), which quickly passed and turned into our arts workshops!
Proceeds from a BYU endowment help fund programs in the BYU ARTS Partnership, comprised of the McKay School of Education and the College of Fine Arts and Communications. On Mondays when she comes to We Care Arts she likes to be involved with the sign language class and has helped us out by performing a few songs she learned in the class at some of our special events.
