The department has cooperation agreements with Makarere University in Kampala, Uganda, Joshibi University in Tokyo and Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK (Institute for Art Education; establishment of a doctoral colloquium and a research collaboration).
Interning organizations have included organizations as diverse as , local network television affiliates, local radio stations, Wyle Laboratories, The Huntsville Arts Council (working for Panoply), Valley Planet, University Relations (UAH), and the Global Hydrology & Climate Center (UAH).
The purpose of this course is to provide the basic concepts and understandings of the theory of image in mass communication industries, defined as the tools of communication exchange, manipulation and mass deception as determinant of the sociopolitical orientation.
