The Minneapolis Schools ‘ Arts for Academic Achievement Program is a program that aims to reform schools by using collaborations between teachers, artists, and artistic organizations. Checking out the schools they came from will give an idea of the sort of training these artists went through. Novato High School is known for its Hornets; Marin School of the Arts has the Serval. Currently the Minneapolis Schools’ Arts for Academic Achievement Program works with around 8,000 students from 35 elementary, middle, and high schools.
